BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – The Brevard Humane Society is hosting its 11th annual Tuxes & Tails Gala tonight at the Space Coast Convention Center, located at 301 Tucker Lane in Cocoa.

This celebration will honor Brevard Humane Society’s 70 years of housing and providing safe spaces for homeless animals. The event will also highlight the benefits of a community united around a common cause.

Presented by Subaru of Melbourne, event supporters include Lite Rock 99.3, author Daniel Garcia presenting his book Marines Don’t Cry, the Historic Cocoa Playhouse and Jon’s Fine Jewelry.

“We are overwhelmed by the incredible support we have received from our community in honor of this event,” said Samantha Dodge, spokesperson for the Brevard Humane Society.

“This is one of the first years that we have sold out weeks before the event. We are absolutely grateful and amazed at this honorable achievement. We are still accepting Pure Love donations to support the success of the gala, which can be found on our website.

Packages available include ‘Platinum Paws’ and ‘Tail Wagger’, with reserved and VIP seating, sponsorship recognition and pet tickets.

The Brevard Humane Society is hosting its 11th Annual Tuxes & Tails Gala on Saturday, August 27 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Space Coast Convention Center, 301 Tucker Lane in Cocoa.

Lite Rock 99.3 FM’s Mindy & Company emcees will be joined by Brevard County auctioneer Sherriff Wayne Ivey. Honorary hosts Tom and Susie Wasdin will open the stage for us and further entertainment will be provided by performers from the Historic Cocoa Village Playhouse.

Join us to see America’s Got Talent – Menestrelli Performing Circus Dogs as well as a celebrity guest presentation by Hot Pink the Band.
