Many classic bags topped this year’s list as must-have pieces as they are both timeless and fashionable. “Iconic bags are the epitome of timeless style, quality and beauty,†said Soohee Cho, former director of merchandising for Vestiarie Collective. “These bags are not only great investments in terms of style, but they often have higher resale values, which makes them a smart financial investment. For example, some 2012 Hermès Birkins that are in very good condition sold for more than the original purchase price.
