Sarah Jessica Parker wore a casual and painting-appropriate outfit – with shoes not suited to painting – in “And Just Like That”.
While filming an episode of yesterday’s “Sex and the City” reboot starring Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis and Sarita Choudry, Parker wore white overalls. The wide-legged garment was layered over a red top under an oversized gray shirt. Her look was complete with a green and purple striped tote bag.
The “Divorce” star also donned a pair of metallic wedge heels by Aquazzura, according to the Instagram account. And just like this closet. The Luna style features towering block heels with a total height of at least 5 inches, as well as platform soles and chunky straps in hues of bronze, gold and silver. The sandals have gained some sparkle with custom crystal accents on each heel. Parker’s shoes weren’t particularly handy for painting – but then again, if anyone can paint interiors with sky-high heels, it’s probably Carrie Bradshaw.
However, these weren’t the only stylish shoes Parker wore on set. The actress also donned a pair of Hasbeens Swedish boots while filming another scene with Nixon. The pair featured black leather uppers, as well as wooden hoof-shaped soles.
Statement sandals have reappeared as a popular shoe for daytime and evening wear, now that live events are back. Styles like Parker’s have become popular for their support straps, wedges, and chunky heels, creating shoes that are both stylish and secure. In addition to designer SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker, Nicki Minaj, Florence Pugh and Cara Delevingne have also worn platforms from Tom Ford, Versace and Jimmy Choo in recent weeks.
Parker is a chameleon with a collection of colorful and sparkly shoes – with a few notable favorites, often from SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker. The actress wears T-strap, point-toe pumps on the red carpet, both from her own line and from brands like Manolo Blahnik, Rene Caovilla and Christian Louboutin. Outside of work hours, she has also been seen in boots, flats and sandals from brands such as Isabel Marant, Repetto and Swedish Hasbeens, and is known for donning Koolaburra’s wedge sneakers for added height.
