Mujjo has been making high quality iPhone cases for ten years and they are a perennial favorite for many of us at 9to5Mac. Materials and construction

Continuing its ten-year tradition, the latest Mujjo cases for iPhone 13 are high quality and stylish. From soft full-grain leather right out of the box to precision stitching for the slim wallet on the back, it’s made to last.

If you’ve never used Mujjo cases before, they’re almost as thin as Apple’s official leather cases. One difference when it comes to the overall construction is that Mujjo uses leather for the side and volume buttons while Apple uses metal.

When it comes to thickness, Mujjo is significantly thinner than Apple’s leather case and MagSafe leather wallet.

Mujjo offers a generous Lightning port cutout so even third-party cables are no problem. Meanwhile, Mujjo uses a larger cutout around the iPhone’s silent side switch, making it easier to turn Apple’s case on and off.

Traditional wallet cases in a MagSafe world

Okay, the elephant in the room, no MagSafe support with Mujjo. Let’s talk about Apple’s MagSafe Wallet experience first, then dive into what you get / give up with Mujjo.

I have been using the Apple Leather Case and the MagSafe Leather Wallet for about a year. It’s great to keep the MagSafe functionality, but that means removing the wallet whenever you want to use MagSafe for anything other than the wallet.

Another downside to Apple’s MagSafe Wallet is that you practically have to remove the wallet from your iPhone every time you need to remove a card.

On the other hand, the Mujjo wallet case for iPhone 13 offers much easier access to your cards while maintaining a slimmer profile. While you haven’t built in support for MagSafe, having to remove the case to use MagSafe is not that different from having to remove Apple’s MagSafe wallet.

While at first it might seem like a problem that the Mujjo leather wallet case doesn’t support MagSafe, when you stop to think about Apple’s MagSafe Wallet experience (and really any other iPhone wallet) , there are concessions to be made.

I think if you enjoy having the thinnest iPhone wallet and often take out your cards, the Mujjo Leather iPhone Wallet Case is a great choice.

Another plus with Mujjo is that you get the case and wallet for $ 50 ($ 55 for the iPhone 13 Pro Max) while you pay ~ $ 100 for Apple’s leather case and MagSafe wallet.

You can pick up Mujjo’s iPhone 13 leather wallet case on Amazon with free shipping for Prime members or direct from the company with a 25% discount until November 29 – use the code “# 25% off” at the register.
