The annual Tailwags and Handbags Springtime Luncheon benefiting Pets Lifeline is scheduled for April 29 in partnership with Buena Vista Winery.

Pets Lifeline now collects new and gently used designer handbags, fine jewelry, scarves and other stylish accessories. Items for the auction can be dropped off at Pets Lifeline on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Pets Lifeline is located at 19686 8th Street East.

“We started this event over a decade ago and I’m thrilled to be able to ‘go live’ again this year,” commented Nancy King, CEO of Pets Lifeline. “We encourage all fashionistas and everyone else to bring those handbags you’ve only used once or twice and are languishing in your closet. Wonderful items have been pouring in this year on the Pets Lifeline collection site I can’t wait to see all the wonders as they come.

The auction will open two weeks before and end over lunch. Everything from the auction will be on display at Buena Vista over lunch.

Tailwags and Handbags is one of the premier fundraising events for Sonoma Valley’s only animal shelter.
