How to watch BYU at Boise State football on Fox Sports 2

With BYU’s planned move to the Big 12 next season, the Boise State-BYU rivalry will come to an end for the time being.

But not before the kick-off of an 11th consecutive game at 5 p.m. on Saturday at Albertsons Stadium.

The Cougars have lost four straight this season after a promising 4-1 start. Boise State, which has won four straight since leaving 2-2, leads the all-time series 8-4.


Boise State will be on fox sports 2 this week. It’s channel 148 on Sparklight, 618 on DirecTV and 149 on Dish Network.

Beginning 2 hours and 40 minutes before kickoff, the Bronco Football Team will march from the Student Union Building, along Bronco Lane and through Larry and Marianne Williams Plaza to the Allen Noble Hall of Fame. New this year will be the addition of fireworks to signal the start of the Bronco Drive.


When do I have access to parking on Bronco football game days? On Saturdays, Bronco fans have access to the stadium grounds 8 hours before game time.

When should I exit my parking space after a Bronco football game? Bronco fans must leave the field one hour after the end of the game. Failure to comply with this instruction could expose you to having your vehicle towed off campus.

Patrons of the Stueckle Sky Center: Reserved parking passes are provided in the package for Stueckle Sky Center seats. The majority of customer parking is located in the West Lot of Albertsons Stadium, with some available in the East Lot and Bronco Circle.

ABA Members: As a BAA member, you may be eligible for parking in reserved lots. Contact the Bronco Athletic Association to learn more about this benefit.

Non-members of the BAA: The Lincoln Parking garage at the corner of University Boulevard and Lincoln Avenue will be available again this year. Non-reserved places will be available at a cost of $85 for the season. Game day parking will be available for individual sales based on availability.


Matchday shuttles will run to and from the city center for every home game this season. Pre-match downtown pick-ups are every 15 minutes for 2 hours prior to the start of the match at:

  • 8th & Main (Bronco store)
  • 8th and Idaho (Diablo & Sons)
  • 6th & Grove (Bardenay)
  • 8th and wide (solid)
  • River Street between 12th and Ash (Payette)
  • 6th and Wide (Boise Brewing)

Fans are dropped off on the east side of Albertsons Stadium, just off Broadway Avenue. After the match, fans are again collected from the east side of the stadium and driven back to the city centre. The shuttle runs for one hour after the match ends. There is an accessible shuttle on a rotating basis during shuttle service hours and it can be requested for pickup at one of six pickup/drop-off locations. To request an accessible shuttle, please inform the driver of one of the arriving shuttles and he will radio the request for the appropriate driver.


This free public space will be open along a section of Bronco Lane between DeChevrieux Field and Larry and Marianne Williams Plaza beginning four hours before kickoff of each Bronco home game. The upgraded space will include: rotating food trucks and food stalls; sports gardens offering liquor sales; Bronco Kids Club kiosk with inflatable structures; Two-hour pregame Bronco Tailgate Show featuring Rick Worthington and Mike Prater in the Hall of Fame Plaza, beginning three hours before kickoff; corporate partner booths along Bronco Lane; a front row seat to the Bronco Walk.

Located on the east side of the stadium, Bronco Alley will include food trucks, additional drink stands and additional restrooms. Bronco Alley will be open in the stadium’s east parking lot for two hours, starting four hours before kick-off. It will close briefly before reopening in the east lobby once the doors open. The Bronco Alley food trucks for each game will be:

Express lanes

Any guest can come by express way. However, if they have chair backs with metal, they must go through the regular channels. There are exceptions to the bag policy, such as medical bags or diaper bags. These cannot pass through the express lanes.

10-10 rule

All liquor in tailgates must be in an opaque tumbler. (i.e. red solo cup). Beer koozies don’t satisfy that.
